Livio Bestulic, (CPA, SFE, CISA retired), Director/Producer/Videographer/Editor

Livio Bestulic was born in Australia but was educated in Ontario, Canada, attending elementary school, high school and two universities in the area. Upon graduation he immigrated to the US of A with his new family where worked for the man until escaping in 1999.

He started his career with two international accounting firms. After leaving the accounting sector he was employed at senior management or director levels at two national and one international firm and then owned/operated a number of software development firms before switching to the entertainment industry as a partner with a Miami casting company involved in the print, commercial and film markets.

His entertainment industry credits included casting for a number of Hollywood motion pictures (Bad Boys 2, Pirates of the Caribbean, Into the Blue, Transporter II, Reno 911 the Movie), industrial documentaries (Hawaiian Tropic, SoBe Entertainment), plus numerous music videos, commercials and print jobs.

When Livio’s son (Seth) was 16 they spent a summer together doing outdoor activities across Europe and North Africa as part of Seth’s initiation rights. Livio filmed these adventures and produced the independent documentary film called 3 Summits (shown at 3 South Florida Film Festivals) and then he became more active in creating, promoting and filming his outdoor adventures for real people.

In 2006, Livio started a website (now RealworldAdventures.com) that pulled together maps, facts and stories related to his outdoor adventures. He then partnered with the stock footage firm T3Media (Thought Equity Motion) to create over 2,300 exotic international video stock clips that were distributed for third parties to use in their own productions.

In 2008 Livio partnered with a video distribution and social networking site called OneLoad.

Livio then focused on film making while leveraging OneLoad’s distribution, social networking and viewer statistics features.

By May, 2016, when OneLoad ceased operations, Livio’s videos had been viewed over 160 million times via different platforms or 2.4 million times via YouTube.

Livio’s activities evolved into more web sites with different formats and lengths and  leveraged third-party distribution

In late 2016, Livio partnered with bbtv logo (the #1 online video network on YouTube) and a sharing arrangement with outspeak.tv, the online video news and entertainment network from The Huffington Post.

Livio has continued to focus on travel and outdoor adventures, with 250+  episodes that cover 13 types of travel/outdoor activities, in 34 countries and in 10 regions of the world.

Livio continues to do adventures, film and write about them, but more and more of his time is being absorbed by his mobile app projects. His latest is the Adventure Travel Buddy App.
